Porchetta CO

Snap, Crackle Crackle Everyone

Those are the sounds of a tasty cracklin, or some tasty fried chicken.
My sister had brought me some Porchetta Co sandwiches, and boy were they tasty.
I love a good sandwich, and boy were these ever tasty. No extra frills, these are just simple and super tasty.

Pork Cracklin Sandwich

Pork was cracklin, sauce was saucy, with it dripping down everything was just finger lickin tasty. Not the hugest fan of the bread, but everything WOW. These were some superfine, super casual, super tasty sandwiches. Crispy pork, with other sliced pork, these were super tasty.

Fried Chicken Sandwich

These were the bomb. I mean fried chicken is always tasty, the sauce was killer, saucy and spicy oh my. These are just.. these are just crunchy, spicy goodness. It's a huge filler, So one of these will definitely stuff you up. Come and try these delicious sandwiches.

Sandwich, sandwich could eat these for days.

Enjoy the summer, enjoy the weather and continue to try different foods.

Tokyo Grill

What a food, what a place to live.

Living in Toronto has many good and bads. One great thing about living here is that it's so multicultural that you can try different foods from different culture within the city.

This time a place well visited was Tokyo grill which offers nearly authentic food. With  so many different sushi/Japanese restaurants, this place stays away from the sushi and goes for more classic regular Japanese food. I've never been to any other restaurant that offers nato.

From here I got the chicken katsu which is deep fried flattened chicken breast.
Chicken Katsu.

It comes with a side of rice, miso soup and salad and even the miso soup here tastes cleaner and more authentic compared to other restaurants.
The food here is affordable around Yonge and Wellesley.
I think it came to about $12.95 before tax.
Generous portions, and tasty food. The place is a bit cozy, but has a larger area in the back to accommodate larger groups.

If you wanted to try authentic Japanese food  without travelling there, check out Tokyo Grill for other tasty options.

China Cottage

How do you do everybody?

Got a hankering for some chinese food, or well american Chinese food and some indian so went to try some Hakka food which combines both worlds. After waiting for my friend we went to check out China Cottage and entering with high hopes, I was a bit disappointed. It could've been due to going at an off hour at 2, there was few customers.
Most of the restaurants have a $6.75 lunch special that offers rice, an option of daily soup, pop or spring roll, I chose the spring roll and the lunch option of chilli chicken which was suppose to be really good. The service was slightly lacking, and taste wise... personally it wasn't the best. It could just be me that wasn't a fan as it seems that they have a second restaurant that opened.

Chilli Chicken with Spring Roll

The meal was heavily sauced, lacked enough rice for the sauce ratio at least to me. The chicken is ok for the first few bites, but it gets tiring real quick. The meal was more sweet than spicy. Their hot sauce were thick red pepper sauce, and a pickled pepper sauce.

Would I come here again? If I had to with nothing else to try, I might come back but not my personal go to.

If you guys tried it and enjoyed it, feel free to let me know what is good.

Happy Day everybody.
