Hot Belly Mamas

Where to start, where to start.

Exploring Peterborough, whenever someone come's to town, I feel like the first place I always take them is to Hot Belly Mamas. They offer a New Orleans, french creole cajun cuisine experience.
I have tried several dishes here and most of their meals have been spot on delicious.
For the dishes being tasty, they have generous amounts of sides given. I was initially shocked and excited when they offered 2 sides per dish, but that was it. For the main dishes being tasty, their sides were more of a let down.

BON APPETIT

Started with their bayou boil. (Crawfish)
Actually my first time trying crawfish, and it was quite tasty.
A bountiful portion with a side of couple of breads. There were some potatoes mixed in, but the crawfish was spot on.
Share the potatoes, keep the crawfish.

Mains: Tortilla Panko Crusted Chicken Sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries and jambalaya

Again, the sandwich was spot on. It was awkward with a giant piece of lettuce on the bottom, but boy oh boy is the chicken ever tasty. It also had some slaw in the sandwich. I would definitely order this again.
The jambalaya, tasted bland and wasn't a favourite, and the sweet potato fries are, well it's hard to go bad on fries.

Mains: Kansas City BBQ Ribs

These fall off the bone ribs, hmmmm so tender, and finger lick'n good. These ribs. I mean these ribs. Wow. These are some tasty ribs.
Sides ordered with it were cajun potatoes and house salad. Again salad is what it is, it had a vinaigrette on top, and the potatoes are nothing to cheer about, but the ribs so good.
